The weekend is here! And... actually half way through for us. Ian and I woke up a bit later than we had wanted and then just took it easy today. We managed to do our laundry (back to hanging to dry, woot!) and that's about all. We did find some soy curls and other fun vegan things at a Tesco. That was unexpected. We took the tram (light rail) a tiny bit to get a feel for it; we've been mostly taking the metro (subway) since it makes more sense from our flat. But, mostly we just walked around a bit and now we're settling in for the evening. Tomorrow it's lesson plans and then a D&D meet up with a few of our fellow nerds from class. I'm really looking forward to it.

I thought Ian got a haircut right before you left! Looks good.
I have a weird affinity for old cemeteries. Love the creepy door!

Great pictures. I just read up on the whole trip. Glad you are enjoying yourself. Boris was interesting, not sure I could have not bitch slapped him after awhile. My son has more patience.
Best to you both.

fabulous photos. That cemetery looks like something out of a stephen king novel. very dark shodow-ish. glad you can relax a little today. Glad you also found soy curls, score!! Looks like the tram was a little on the toasty side. Thanks for the great post

What's all this, then?
Welcome! This is where you'll read about our day to day lives. It may not always be fascinating, but here I'll discuss our home life, work life, struggles and successes. You know, regular human stuff.
