So we spent the day planning, had our weekly staff meeting and went home an hour early. It's been a weird week. I let myself get disrupted and I haven't made any of my weekly goals (except blogging!). I didn't run or eat very well this week. You know what they say, the more you have to do, the more you get done. Well, I certainly didn't have enough to do this week and I wasn't very good at motivating myself. I did get unit arcs finished for the entirety of our book. So, I'm planned through March and I can just revise and make materials if necessary. Woot!
After work, I walked with Kirsten over to the other accommodation because I was going to meet up with Lisa and Maureen to walk Lisa's dogs. But, I had mixed up where they were meeting and I totally missed them. So, I headed to "the Chalet" where Lisa lives. Kirsten was meeting some other people, so I went to the chalet alone. Walking alone isn't something you want to make a habit of, but doing it in daylight is alright from time to time. I figured it was no big deal because I fully expected to intercept them somewhere in the middle. But, I never did. I waited a few minutes after arriving at the Chalet and then knocked on Kim's door. I figured I ought to tell her what happened and apologize for the potential phone call from the matawa. She wasn't home.
So, I went back through the gate and asked the gatekeeper dude if he'd seen Lisa (I made sure he knew who I was talking about by referring to her "yellow hair" which made him laugh a little). He said they'd left about 5 minutes before I'd shown up and showed me what direction they'd went.
