We (Ian, Cydney and I, of course) went to Prague Pride yesterday. It was a blast. The parade turned out to be more of a march, so after snapping some photos we jumped in and followed it. It went from Wenceslas through old town and up to Letna Park.
The parade/march (read: RAINBOWS!)
What pride event would be complete without a sprinkling of misguided protesters?
It was a beautiful day (though a bit hot) to be up at Letna Park (where the metronome is). However, you do have to climb a few steps to get up there. As many as we were in our march, it took us a long time to get up those sun drenched stairs. We were ready for some refreshment when we arrived. One of the booths was selling sangria, so we looked no further.
A bit later we checked out the live music stage and found what appeared to be a terrible Czech boy band.
I think mannequin Putin had a really swell time.

Cool. And the day of your Pride parade was the day after I went to my first gay wedding. Good weekend. (See Jim Eddy's FB page for the wedding cake. Safeway refused to put two grooms on the cake so they went to The Dollar Store and got action figures, LOL).

What's all this, then?
Welcome! This is where you'll read about our day to day lives. It may not always be fascinating, but here I'll discuss our home life, work life, struggles and successes. You know, regular human stuff.
